Cezanne is an experienced litigator and negotiator. She combines thorough knowledge of civil law with an understanding of the dynamics of business conflicts and the costs and benefits of litigation.
From 2016, as a partner of Redbreast, a well-known Dutch litigation financier, Cezanne’s responsibilities included the legal substantive assessment of funding requests for litigation on large (mass damage) claims. Before that, she was an attorney at Pels Rijcken, healthcare sector, and a senior lecturer at Leiden University Medical Center.
Cezanne is a member of the Liability and Compensation Law Association and the Health Law Association. Cezanne is chairman of a dispute resolution committee dealing with claims against healthcare professionals and institutions and teaches decision analysis in litigation to law firms and legal departments.
